Congrats.

I just got done putting the KB back on today and WOW what a difference over the Eaton. Got up to 18 lbs boost coming home from the test drive.

BTW- Be careful. The KB is known to eat stock blocks for lunch.

Since I'm relatively new to the boards, I have a question that will probably seem dumb to most of you. But what's the big deal about the KB supercharger? Why change from the stock Eaton? How much does it cost to make the change.

The best way I can explain the difference (besides saying night and day) is see the Motorcycle in the bed of your L. Well imagine having the same instant, does not stop pulling power, but in the L.
Used to its potential.
It is that dramatic.

Id definately put a Vortec on your truck Leann. My Gen 1, had an s-trim, 4.56 gears, 2500 stall etc..etc...and would run 11.7s...

Yeah I've been looking into it... but I'm to the point right now where I'm seriously not sure what I wanna do. I can either throw all of my money into this truck, or leave it the way it is until I get a gen 2. I don't know.
