Tips

Well to make a long story short I am in need of some tips, the local exhaust guy rayally f'ed up my Bassani tips. CAn anyone give me a cheap way to get some good looking tips in there??

Yeah. Make them replace what they broke. A new cat back sounds fair to me, since it came as one piece.



Just in case you don't want to go that way....

Thanks Odin....I will definatly call him tomorrow morning and try to get new tips out of him....Do you think 4" tips will fit there??

I dented one of mine up:


so I ordered some new ones from JDM. they were about $40 a piece if I remember correctly. they had 'em in stock.

I will have to order new ones I think...First , this idiot installed the catback and the tips were sticking out like 6 inches.... Then he said, I can just make a clean cut on the tips to make them look better, he ended up cutting them at wrong angles, one going one way, the other the opposite way....F'ing moron....I am so mad right now......I need to be closer to normal people..Ohio is full of idiots....or at least the part I live in.....

it seems like you can never get nice work around here. My tips are at a f#$% up angle also. I can fix mine though!

Odins....Magnaflow didnt have any 4" tips...any idea where I mihgt find some??

Try JDM. They use nice ones on the exhaust kits they provide for the Lightning. Unless I'm mistaken, they are 4" tips.

DOes JDM sell the tips by themselves? Are they a direct replacement for the stock ones or is a new tailpipe needed?
