Can the Rear Sway Bar End Links be relocated?

upon installing the rouch suspension kit on my '04, i was looking at the stock end links. They are bolted to the frame and I can drill a new hole approx. 2"-2.5" above the stock hole and relocate it.

Would this be the same effect as buying the aftermarket ones which are shorter or adjustible?

Yes...I did the same thing. You will save some coin and acheive the same results. Bottom line is that you want to keep you sway bar level...

Was it hard to drill? I mean do I need something bigger than a 3/8 drill?

thanks for replies, i also searched (deep) and found one or two other topics that had owners said they also had drilled new holes.
1st time around to search it would freeze up, so I posted.

A 3/8"s will work fine. You just need to drill a small pilot hole first before you go to the actual bit that is the size of the bolt...

I did the same to my '03. After droping the rear 3" with the JLP shackles the suspension was so tight. As stated above the pilot hole is a great recommendation an use a drilling oil to save the drill bit and reduce heat.

There was a noticeable difference in the ride!

D-Day
