my opinion is better to do the kit Because you will break it again with that kind of power

Sorry to hear about your problem, but I do happen to know a place to get a replacement that you won't have any problems with. .

The Monster Box is $3120, includes shipping and a 2 year nationwide warranty that includes labor, not that I think you'll need that. For the price, you can't beat it, includes the Total Domination converter already installed, too!

12leavu,

If I can help you with a Monster Box or a Moster In A Box rebuild kit, just let me know.

Ummm, I'm just curious...Does anyone have an opinion on what happened? Its made this sound before going into second, well like three times in the past. But never any lasting "damage" this time it made that same horrible noise and apparently took something with it. Thanks for your help.

I see the first link offers a rebuild kit for $250.00
This may be be my cheap way out. I know this may not sound like the "smartest " decision but my wallet is really hurting after this exhaust purchase. thanks for the info

I opted to get the LFP/Art Carr extreme rebuild kit. There is a linky to it on NLOC in the Lightning Force forum. Raybestos fibers, means steels, all the seals, gaskets, Supposed to be everything to rebuild the trans to be bullet proof. We shall see soon

Thanks...that looks like an affordable alternative.
