If you're paying cash, no trade, no financing, with no damage, then you're getting one hell of a deal. At that price, an investor could make a profit buying them up and selling them later this year when they're all gone. I paid cash for mine too and I also sold a popular "last year made" 1998 Supra at a profit 2 years after purchase. I'd race down to the dealer and put some ink on that deal immediately. Go, Go, Go and more power to ya' That's a rocking good deal IMO .

I'm an SVT salesperson. I bought my L on D-Plan which is for Ford Blue Oval Certified Dealership employees. The D-Plan price is below invoice, and my D-Plan price was $28,500. Run, don't walk, to that dealer and sign the papers. For me to sell one at $27,500 Out the Door, the selling price would have to be around $25,000. That's like almost $5,000 below invoice. I think that dealer has been smoking crack. If I was in a position to buy another car I'd go buy their other one.

I think your salesguy is subtracting the $1000 rebate that is only good on 03's for starters. Is there an autoshow in the area right now? I got a local $500 rebate because the autoshow was in town.

I got my 03 for a little less new then you are talking, but I had these two Ford rebates on my side.

Cool

Well, it's mine !!! Picked it up yesterday at 4:00 PM.

2004 Dark Shadow Gray Lightning.

I am so excited I can't stand it. If only the weather would clear up a little.

When it was all said and done, I was $27,957 poorer. But, reading all of the info I found here, I feel like I got a good deal.

Thanks for all the input. I sincerely appreciate it.
