You heard it, change the fuel filter, maybe check the plugs,

Couple more questions.. truck calls for 5w20, can i run 5w30 mobil one synthetic or any 5w30 synthetic for that matter? I will be changing fuel filter today.

Can't believe this thread got all the way to RONBO before someone mentioned to check the plugs. I concurr my brotha. We mean checking them to see that there not loose. You could check them to see how it's burning too.

Well, I wanted to give him a day or two to enjoy his new ride before throwing stuff at him that would ruin the day so to speak.
Plugs were the next thing I would have mentioned.. 8-)

well i just got the new fuel filter in. Not a bad job to do and only $9.48. I will check plugs this weekend.

Havn't heard of any reason why not to, I have in mine. can't remember where but , was told the lighter oil was for ford fuel economy numbers.?
