Hey Rob02...WASP\rancho?
I didn't want to hijack your FTVB thread.
Do the rancho's help with stock F1's?
I didn't think traction bars helped with stock tires, I would like to
hear they do though.
and
What kind of boost are you seeing with the WASP?
I am struggeling with a $500 upgrade for my L.
I could afford Outrageous Perf. porting job ($450) but not
Aptens right now.
My best last year was an 8:12 @86 in 50deg. weather. Would the
ported eaton get me into the 7's in 70-80deg. weather? or is heat going to be a problem?
Input is highly appreciated and needed.

Sent you an email o light 1,
To answer your question, unfortunatly I DO BELIEVE the
Rancho Bars have caused much more tire spin.
One of the things I always noticed when crusing with other Lightnings were the guys with a lot of power AND RANCHO BARS would always spin the tires when they jumped on it, even form a substantial roll, I always wondered why mine didn't do that, even if I was spraying (which puts me @ 500+HP easy). But then I did the Bars and FTVB and all hell broke loose and now I have the other extreme without any juice.
So to answer your question, is the Rancho Bars better for putting the power to the rear wheels and down to the pavement, --> ABSOLUTELY <--
But is it better for traction ??? IMO IT MAKES TRACTION DAM NEAR IMPOSSIBLE ON F-1's, or at least here in NY during the cold months.
