Richmond, VA - Stock 2000L 1/4 mile times!

Some of you guys might remember my post from Thursday night:
Previous thread

Well, I just got back for Richmond, and man what a day! I made three passes, and my two fastest were:

Run #1
60' 2.098
1/8 8.816 @ 81.53
1/4 13.648 @ 101.41

Run #2
60' 2.046
1/8 8.786 @ 81.12
1/4 13.663 @ 100.10

My third run I spun all the way through 1st gear, with a 2.3 60' time and end up with a 14.55 @ 100 which sucked. There was a stock STI there with just 2000 miles that ran a 13.2 @ 104. A friend of mine brought his '03 Z06 and ran a 12.41 @ 113 twice! Also, another friend of mine with an '01 Saleen S281 ran a 12.21 @ 116! The one car that impressed me most all day was driven by the 50yr old country club looking guy, w/ a brand new Mercedes E55 AMG. He ran a 12.3 @ 120! That automatic benz was quick!!!

Hey man whats up! This is the guy you raced at the VT-UVA shootout. Awesome times bro. Real impressed by that 8.7 1/8th time. We were shooked when you hit 8.8 at Natural Bridge that day, so 8.7 is amazing. Just curious, what was the temp out there today?

P.S. was that 03 Z06 stock? My Dad bought one this past summer and he's always wondered what it would run.

Thanks superfords! Hope to see you around this coming season. I may be down next weekend with my friend Aaron and his modified red '00 L.

VTSVT great bumping into you again. Your black '03 L looked sweet...real sharp!! The temp for my first run was 47 on my compass, while for my second run it was about 55. As you can see from my times, on my second run I had a faster time in the 60' and 1/8, but my time in the 1/4 was .02 slower and my mph was almost 1.5 slower. That is all due to a reduction in hp from the slightly warmer temps (same driver, same truck, same track, same day - different temp). The '03 Z06 wasn't stock but didn't have a whole lot done to it. Another guy tehre had a black '02 Z06 that was stock and he was running consistent 12.5-12.6 @ 113mph. Hope to see you at the next UVA-VT shootout!!!
