Question Exhast tips...

Has anyone ever had their tips powder coated? I have the Bassani and the front of my front tip is getting really crappy, and all the scrubbing isnt helping at all, its got alot of pitting and its getting stained brown.

If someone has a pic of the tips coated black, or even if someone could photochop it for me, Id really appreciate it!

I've never seen anyone with powdercoated tips, but if you want them black then just run the truck for about 2 months without cleaning them.

Does anyone know if the powder coating could stand up to the heat of the exhaust?

I saw a red L once with high temp ford red paint on the inside of his bassani. it really REALLY looked excellent, but he also didn't use the truck as a daily driver. I believe it was his track/show/polish beauty.

that truck

I don't think powdercoat can hold up to that heat.
