If anybody wants to go to the dyno this weekend (NC/VA)

if all goes well I'll be taking the blue goose to the dyno this weekend Saturday, March 20th for a tune and some new numbers on the new engine.

if anybody wants to join me you are welcome to come watch/run.

I'm going to see Randy Haywood @ www.haywoodspeed.com in Raleigh North Carolina. I'm driving down from Richmond, VA.

if you want to come and watch, then by all means come with.

if you want to run, contact Randy directly to check for scheduling/ dyno availability.

I'll be getting a new tune and plan on spraying as well!

later,
chris

Hey Chris whats up...this is Ronnie, you put my pulley and tbars on at Marks shop. Well this past weekend somethin went wrong with my truck and I think I had some type of detonation...do you think it would be a good idea to take it to the dyno and try to get my chip retuned? What are your thoughts/suggestions?

if your truck is pinging (detonation/spark knocking) then you should definately at the very least get a reburn.

a dyno run with air/fuel readings would help optimize your tune.

come on down if you want. call randy and see what chips he does if you want to come.

he has quite a reputation for tuning 5.4/4.6 powered race cars.

chris

Saturday morning, I am no early bird. I'm usually late for pretty much everything.

I think it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Richmond.

I think Randy said they usually get there around 8:30, but I prolly won't leave Richmond until around 8:00 am. but who knows. I'm not much on planning, I'll most likely just get up when I wake up and hit the road.

anybody who is interested in doing a caravan or meeting down there let me know. I can try to nail down a more specific arrival time for those on a tight schedule.

Hey good luck, I was going to go to Johnny's this weekend, but time and weather has screwed up the plans. My setup is very similar to yours. I have a built bottom (jlp) , patriot performance stage 2 heads, JLP stage 3 cams, Apten s/c, LFP longtubes, and the other bolt-ons. I would like to see your results and compare. Have a safe drive. I'm hoping to hit 560rwhp.

thanks,

I'm looking for 500-550RWHP on the motor and hopefully 650+ on the spray.

we'll just have to wait and see!

well, I had planned on leaving earlyish like around 8:30, but that all depends on if I get the Nitrous and all the gauges installed after work today.

If I'm not finished with the truck tonight then I may come up to work tommorow morning early and try to wrap things up and head down around11:00 or noon?

it just all depends on how things go tonight.

P.S. tell Ralph that I MAY need him to go to Tom's and get my bottle filled tonight.

chris

How much does he charge for how many runs? I'll probably go tommorow if we set a time.
