Dyno Tune

How much does a dyno and a dyno tune cost. I have a superchip among other mods but i would like to know how much a dyno tune would cost me for any vendor around the new Jersey area. Also if i get a correct tune will it prevent detonation.

Since you're a Superchips user, JDM would be compatible for you.

They get $175 for 3 pulls and $300 for tuning.

That's ridiculous!

I would rather have Jerry tune my truck, he does it for less than that, any day.

That is the going rate for dyno time in Ny or NJ.(one place on LI charges 250 for 3 pulls) the tune is a bit steep though. I think 100 bucks for a tune is more like it.

Around here it is $50 for two runs and $10 for each additional run and dyno tune is $120... Last time I went I got 15 rwhp for a total of $205 dollars. Not bad I think considering it was at 90 degree weather.

I am presently trying to get a tune session put together for May 22. It will be held in TN between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Jerry will be doing the tuning. No one better at it.
$300 for the tune which incudes chip.
$75 for dyno, as many pull as it takes to get it right.

That is a good deal!!!
