L Vs. M3

Lightning VS. M3
Well my friend obviously has too much free time on his hands, he is an M3 lover and when I went on his computer and changed the background to a picture of a Lightning, he didn't like it. So he decieded to get back at me.

Someone help me retaliate please.

If its a current gen M3, its on the side of the road. The Lightning is coming to give him a tow after his SMG over-revved the engine.

I manage to catch a lot of flack from M3 owners... they always seem to find me, rev like crazy...but never want to race. They are usually older guys, that may be why... but some of you guys are the same age, and are way more crazy than I am...so I dont know what their deal is.

Evan Smith of MM&FF magazine drove a new bone stock M3 to 12.7 @ 107, pretty stout. The M3's naturally aspirated inline 6 makes 30hp less than an '00 Lightnings supercharged V8, plus is a much nicer car. I'd love to have one.

they sound very ballzy for a I-6 ... very much like Fords 4.6L v8 with a borla muffler in fact... but Im guessing the ones I have seen had some sort of cat-back system as well... either way they are very pimp rides...

Yea, they probably had an aftermarket exhaust. Two of my close friends both have m3's. One of them is on his second one(after totalling his first). Anyway, they are quick cars. Im stock, and ive raced them a few times, though they are too afraid to race from a light. They only go for roll starts. We always HANG, dead even. IF anything, usually not, but if anything, I ever so slightly pull from 20-80, and 80 on its all m3. From a light id probably do a heckuvalot better. Stock they have a reallll raspy sound. The exhaust has a hollow metal weird sound. But they do liven up pretty will with exhaust. Cant do much mods on those either, those 6 cylinders are pretty much maxed out. Enough of them blow stock as it is. Itll stand NO chance against a chip and pulley though.
