I've had both; single muffler Magnaflow with internal "X" pipe and dual muffler Bassani. The Magnaflow had more resonance in the cab which bothered me, most people aren't bothered by it. They both sound good, but if you're looking for the quieter (inside the truck) of the two, the Bassani is it. I also prefer the tone of the Bassani over the Magnaflow, not as harsh under full throttle, but still deep.

Been there done that.....

Both are awesome, just depends on your preference in sound.

I agree with camcojb's cab comments. Personally I prefer the Maggy over the Bassani. To my ears - the bassani is a little tinny compared to a deeper tone on the Magnaflow. I had the Bassani for 2 months before switching to the Magnaflow.

Can't go wrong with either!

Single muffler Maggy with internal X pipe here. Awesome sound and quality. A little bit of wrangling with the pipes coming into the muffler is necessary for everything to line up, though.

Only complaint is that the tips don't stick out quite far enough. They are just flush with the face of the ground effects. I believe the most recent version (starting late last year) of the catback was extended 1" out, though.

FYI, I will be adding the high flow cat mid pipes within the next week or two.

I just put the Maggy on about 2 weeks ago. I'm very happy with it, the quality was top notch. I couldn't even begin to consider the Bassani at almost twice the price.

I got the maggy for $295 plus shipping, the quality alone was excellent and it sounds a lot better than my dual muffler silverbullet did, resonating in the cab much much less, and for the price you can't beat it.

I have the single muffler internal X pipe. I love it. One of my L buddies also bought one after hearing mine. I know some guys like the Bassani, but for the price the Maggy's the way to go. I also don't care for the holes drilled in the bottom of the Bassani pipes near the end of the tips. Quality on the Maggy is also awesome. JMO.
