Question Braided wire tubing for our engines?

I have been looking at wire covers\tubing etc. something inexpensive to spruce up the eng. compartment.
The wire mesh or braided stuff was way to expensive then I found this; Spectre SSteel-Flex Hose

Anyone tried this or know anything about it. It looks like a nice alternative to the expensive stuff.

$20 for 6'

Spectre SSteel-Flex Hose
Made from long life rubber tubing and covered with braided 304 stainless steel. The braid is bonded to the hose, eliminating the need to tape frayed ends. The hoses cut neatly and use Spectre's Magna Clamp or Pr-Hex anodized aluminum fittings with gear drive clamps to finish off each end. Clamps not included.

The only braided wire you really need is included in a nitrous kit.

Aeroquip makes anodized hose clamp ends for around 2.50 each. You can then run #12 line for your intercooler hoses- 16inches and for the rest run the 3/8s blue or black push lock hose which is also inexpensive while being high quality and looking nicer than stock.

promod,
I dont see the $2.50 clamps. I see the $7 ones. Is there someplace else other than jegs that has them cheaper.

also,
can you please clarify:
"You can then run #12 line for your intercooler hoses- 16inches and for the rest run the 3/8s blue or black push lock hose"

Is this the one your talking about (I would have to cut it, right?).
AN Size: -12; 3 Foot Length

sorry for the stupid questions but I have never done this or looked into it.

THanks,
-Rich
