I also Agree. I told my dealer if they put on the front plate i was not buying the truck. Also told them not to put their decal on the tailgate either. If they did that then i want money for sponsorship. Guess what. They didn't put either on.

I Got The Hook-Up!

For a real SWEET plate, check with the folks at a company called "Eurosport Daytona", specifically their polished stainless plates with the laser-cut plexiglass designs bonded on. I think they call that product their "Stainless Styles" line.

If you check their website, you won't see much, but I can tell you that they are very capable of slicing out a perfect Lightning logo (like the fender badge).

My favorite sister-in-law hooked me up a couple of years ago at Christmas by having them make a one-off with the Ford Logo (in blue and clear) and the Lightning logo (in clear). It wasn't too expensive, either.

This thing is THE BOMB, I can assure you. I have it bolted to the wall of the UMG (ultimate man's garage) right now.

I'll shoot you or anyone else a photo for posting, if you're interested.

Ummm...

Chief:

Re-read my post. It was a Christmas gift from my sister-in-law. A Christmas gift.

When you see the photos, I don't think you're gonna be so worried about how much it costs.

You have mail.

I made one myself. I bought a lightning badge (like the one on the side of the truck), and I cut off the tabs on the back with my dremel tool. Then I bought a reflective license plate with nothing on it. All I did was take the plastic off of the sticky tape off the back of the lightning logo and stuck it on the reflective license plate. It was super easy to make and not very expensive. I spent about ten bucks on the plate and about 20 or so on the badges. Plus, I got two of the badges. I will go down to the truck later and take a picture and post it.

Here it is. Sorry, it is a little dirty, but the snow is all melting here and it is very, very, very difficult to keep a truck clean on these roads. Especially black.
