OK, I found a 2003 (NEW) Dark Shadow Grey
Just wondering, that means it's been sitting there on the lot for some time now...
Can that screw up the engine sitting there that long?
What should I look for when I start it up?
Oh my God, this would be my 3rd Lightning in 4 years....I must be nuts...

First thing that I would do is open the hood and check to see if any critters are living under there like, wasp nests, or mud dobbers. Are the brake rotters all rusted, that's how you can tell if it's been sitting there for awhile. Hopefully someone has started it to move around the dealers lot or maybe a test drive. If you do buy it, put a tank of good gas in it before a WOT, Gas dose good bad and lose Octane points.

Mud dobbers are like a wasp that builds nest out of mud. There a pain in the a$$ around here. They get into everything, Like my lawn mower, the exhaust hole on my mower they plug it with there nest which is mud, then it won't start. They even get into engine comparments and make a mess. Here are some pictures

Well, we don't have those here in Lost Angeles. We do have something like them though...we've got tons of illegal aliens and they are just as troublesome and they nest everywhere. And even though there's this "war on terror" our President continues to allow them unfetterd access to the states...no checks, no pictures, no fingerprints. I'll check the engine compartment for them.
