Tires are to big and in my point of view chrome wheels dont fit our trucks. Theres nothing else that is chrome on our trucks to match with chrome wheels. Get some 40 or 35 series tires and then it might look ok.

Tires are 305/50-20's. The reason I went with such a tall tire is to get it up off the ground a little. There are a lot of deep gutters around here and the previous owner scraped the snot out of the front bumper.

Most peoples aftermarket grilles are chrome. Heads and tails are chrome. Exhaust is chrome. There plenty of room for chrome on a truck, just look at VINNIE's truck.

I like them, they look good to me. I agree that is a bit much tire, but if you have a need for it then do you.

The exhaust is ceramic. All headlights are "chrome." My taillights are solid black.

But whether or not there is any other chrome on the car would seem to be irrelevant as the whether chrome goes on it.

My personal opinion is that chrome is bling bling, whereas the Lightning was intended to make more of a sportscar statement.

Whatever

I'm not a fan of VINNIE's truck. I can appreciate that he enjoys that, and if it makes him happy, so be it, but I am a fan Mr. Skelton's vision of what a lightning should look like.

Looks good man! Our trucks are fairly plain jane from the factory, with the monochrome treatment, subtle badging and ground effects, etc. At least when compared to the SRT 10. The chrome gives it a little flash that I like.

Tire size looks fine to me. Looks like a truck tire in my opinion, unlike some of the goofy 35 series on "dub threes" that some guys run.

Any problems with tire rub? I've heard that tall of a tire can cause problems.

Woah....we agree 100%. HaHa. Tim's truck is SWEET. That is what a Lightning should look like IMO. -Mat-

The Drivers side tire rubs slightly when turned all the way to the right but that is because I have a cold air intake hoses pushing the fender well out a little bit. Other than that they fit perfectly.

Thanks for the comments guyes.
