question

ok guys, just bought 04 L, did mods first week had it

upper and lower pulley (boost is running about 15 1/2)
airraid
custom diablo by Mike Murillo

now the problem I am having.....
when I get on it from a stop, it goes through 1st and 2nd great, but when it shifts into 3rd it seems a little sluggish, have now idea why...........

and would a boost bybass mod help or is it not worth it???

your boost is dumping. There is a plug you can un-plug to prevent this. You don't have to buy a kit. Do a search for it , there is a pic that can describe to you better than I can of what it looks like. Maybe someone else can throw it up.

here is a link to get the parts for the boost bypass < $10 in parts at AutoZone or Kragens. free info on how to do it, < 10 minutes. whether or not it is worth it? for less than ten bucks it can't hurt to try. the only other thing i can think of would be a crack or loose vacuum line.

just took L for drive, i am loosing boost when it shifts into 3rd, will try boost bypass and see what happens

I don't think it is the boost bypass.

if your boost bypass valve opened you wouldn't feel sluggish, you would feel dog a$$ slow.
and your boost gauge wouldn't go above ZERO.

Where is your boost gauge when it shifts into 3rd.

gauge dropped down to zero, i just did mod and all is good now, not losing any boost
