Went to the track for the 1st time today
Made the 1st run (of my life!) about a half hour after I got there (2 hour trip).
Time__11:10a__11:36a___12:26p___12:46p__1:00__1:08
60ft___2.221___2.385____2.211____2.513___2.128___2 .414
1/4 mi_14.957__14.440___14.143___14.503__14.135__15.29 3
MPH___88.43___96.79____97.13____97.83___96.97___95 .95
Best reaction time was .737 on my first run. My worst was the 2nd run - 1.014. The "car" next to me did a 1.481 60ft. with an 11.279 at 116.88 mph! It was a little loud!
Truck is stock except for MagnaFlow exhaust. Was hoping to run 13's.
I didn't adjust tire pressure, just let it cool off some between runs. Unplugged the boost bypass after 2nd run. I pulled the tailgate on the 4th run and went slower, so put it back on. First three runs were made with the baby's carseat but my wife suggested I could steer more comfortably without it. (Steer? I thought I was going in a straight line!)
All but the 2nd and last runs were made in the left lane. Thought I'd switch to the right and see what happened. Well...you see what happened! Not that I wasn't spinning on the others, but I couldn't seem to get traction. I know I wasn't the only one having problems...

My best run was after FractalDragon did a big smoky burnout. Met FractalDragon and Blown318 (nice flame job).
I know I can hit 13 with more practice and adjusting my tire pressure.
But you know what they say, a slow day at the track is better than any day at work!

Actually she said "pull the carseat, tailgate, 2 fast food drink cups and spare". She also said "next time bring the tire gauge" (I had a small 12v compressor with me).
We need to meet up and see what that HD will do.
