LOL. Maybe next time you won't forget to put a little oil on the gasket and won't screw it on so tight.

Hey, been there, done that. Sometimes those filters don't want to cooperate and you have to get a little inventive. I spent half a day cusing at a front rotor before it decided to cooperate and come off. Well, it came off after i decided to hack saw it off.

I bet it went much better when you started to turn it counterclockwise...

Just kidding. Just a reminder to hand tighten the filter when installing it. Also put some oil on the rubber seal and inside the threads of the filter before screwing it on.

, are you sure you just changed your oil? It look's like you tried exorcising your filter from the factory demons.
If it make's you feel better, my first oil change was drain oil, attempt to remove filter, break filter wrench, fill engine back up (with new oil), go to dealer, curse, swear and pay for the dang oil change there.

HAHHAHAHAHAHHAh

they're called filter wrenches, they cost a good 5 bucks.

I did that once in a jam but jesus what a mess. The thing was covered in oil so its really slippery and i ended up cutting my hand pretty good.

Edit: and yeah what those people said. Thin film of oil on the gasket hand tighten and a quarter turn. Comes off easy then.

Maybe if your truck wasn't so slow this wouldn't have been an issue, hahahahahaha.
