04 Dealer/your cost in Canada?

Going to the dealer in the next few days to hopefully purchase a Lightning.

04s list for $42,500 Canadian now.
I know I can knock him down, but if anyone has any info on dealer cost
and/or what they paid for their recent Lightning in the great white north here,
I'd appreciate it.

Thanx
Iron

Just talked to a dealership the other day. Right now would be a good time to buy an SVT product as they are offering 0% financing. He also quoted me a price of 37,900 for a new 04 L.
Good Luck.

Left-over 03's are going for 2-3k cheaper than 04's.

I bought my '02 when then 03's had just arrived and my truck cost me 38k plus tax.

Good luck with your purchase!

Iron:

2004's are ALL stickered at $43700!. Take the $1750 cashback off and you're at $42000 as the starting point BEFORE any wheeling and dealing!!.

I am in Red Deer, or more really Dead Deer. The guy I talked to was at freedom about two months ago. That was when I was still on the fence about posible getting a SRT10, but I decide to get the old L, from my dad, as I got a smokin deal.

They have (at least 3 years ago) a markup of approx $5000. This is without any cashback offers, incentives etc.

Nice fence to be sitting on to consider a SRT10 at $59K CND. Good thing you got off that fence and got yourself dad's L

Sorry Frank,

Actually due to a few circumstances, one being having a family, we went with an 04 FX4 Screw

A small part of me wished we took the lightning, but I have a Hayabusa for my speed fix so I'll still live

Thanx for your input guys

Hey builtfordfast,
Is the 0% being offered on all SVT products?

I bought my 04 2 weeks ago for $38K plus taxes. Ford has 0% on 48 mos and 1.9% on 60 mos don't know about leasing.

I bought my 2003 back in January for 33,907 CAN brand new off the lot.....they were trying to clear them out and they had three for this price...There was some kind of cash back from ford to the dealer to allow for this I believe. If you have patients and want to risk it and buy late you might save some money but I think you should snap one up pretty soon. Just my 2cents

Just curious, which dealer did you buy from (your location is a bit broad). Thats one smokin deal for a new L.

Ford must be offering regional incentives. In California, there is no special APR financing available on '04 Lightnings.
