Painting Brake Calipers Need Help...

What paint should I use?

And, how do I go about doing it??

What color you going to paint them? I am interested because I have a sonic blue as well...

Not sure what color, will have to see what my color options are, but looking at black or red possibly.

That's what I was thinking was red might look good. Not sure about black as I don't know if it would really stand out or not.

Please no red on a sonic blue. That would look to ricer. How about a nice silver?

do a yahoo search on G2 caliper paint
buddy of mine did it on his
VW
looked great, very much like it was powdercoated

I'd go with silver on sonic blue. Though, I think yellow would look sweet, too.

i would go with as close to sonic blue as you can find on sonicblue.

I used that VHT or whatever it is Paint and was not impressed at all. Very runny, even with super light coats. I cleaned the living **** out of the callipers too just to save aggrivation later and still was not satisfied with the quality. They came out ok, but i wasn't satisfied enought to even bother putting a couple coats of clear on them. There's a nice base coat now, and when it wears down I'll get the loose stuff off and start there.
