I wished that was true

They told me: "not to come back without the proper safety equipment"
NO warning.
11.932 at full operating temp with an awful 60 (1.73).
Would have been nice to get a another run...

Oh well

The Magnum Powers will run another day!

Duh...
What am I crying about ???
I ran an 11 !!!

PS

Everyone had fun and now back to the show.... lol

There were unbelievable Mustangs there, I'm talking 9's 8's, and I think I saw even better than that. JJ was on his game very much today, running as low as 11.0's, We got to talk alot, and he answered lots of Questions I had, THANKS JJ...
He finished the day with a 10.95 @ 123.80

Later...

Yea he did.

He ran an 11.0 with tire spin, so he hot lapped, and with a better start he got his 10.

JJ's truck was running STRONG! That truck is very impressive. Not sure why some trucks ran good while others did not>??? My brother was able to pull off a 12.1X with his truck. FULL WEIGHT, 13-14PSI, Outrageous Perfomance ported eaton and WINTER tune. All while cutting 1.6X 60FTs on Nittos. My Avalanche ran a blistering 16.01! Def were a lot of FAST cars there for sure. Was a great day without a doubt. Already can't wait for the fall event. -Mat-

Sounds like you guys were at Carlsbad. Usually way too hot and the same traction as an ice rink. Skip

Jerry,

As I said if it was in the 60's I'm Donald ****** Trump
It was very hot and Sunny, nobody made a pass in the 60's unless it was at 9:00 in the morning when we weren't there
or something ???
Like I say, all I know is I was showing OVER 80 degrees after we left the track @ 4pm, and that was crusing at 80 on the parkway.
It was at least mid 70's to 80's + when we made those passes.

Listen I'm the first to say, I am very very disappointed in my ET's,
I should have prepped better, ran race fuel, and when you see the Video's you will see my truck sat down (nose dived) and then came back in both passes I'm not sure why, it never did that before???. But everyone agrees it's time I get some readings of whats going on and get it on the Dyno. Some even agree I may have ran faster with less pulley, next time I'm gonna try 4lbs + 75HP + 18 Degrees of Timing, something tells me thats gonna be my winning combo

But I make no excuses yesterday simple wasn't my day yet for some it seems it was. CONGRATS TO THOSE PEOPLE
and WAY TO GO SILVERLIGHTNING
(that sucks they didn't allow you a 2nd pass)

And Gator has the ***** to say "Rob couldn't back up his 11's"
I have personally seen Gator run 11's time after time after time after time, and now after adding an Apten, Injectors, Fuel Pumps, 4 bank Dyno tunning (full race program + Race Fuel) and god knows what else ???? He made 5 attempts yesterday and RAN SLOWER THAN ME EVERY TIME, and never got BACK INTO the 11's, or backed up an 11 sec run with his new set up.
HEAT KILLS AND IT WAS HOT AS SCHITT (not in the 60's)
I'd say easy mid 70's or 80's when we made those passes.
(no matter what the track seems to think it was)

If I didn't see Gator pedal backwards himself 5 times in a row I would be even more upset, but it simple wasn't our day, the 60 ft time was there on the second pass, the MPH was even there, but the ET's weren't for either of us, and it was clearly the Sun and Heat that killed it. We were prob very stupid waiting so long and so late to make those passes

Personally I think I'm gonna save my penny's a while and get a Magnum Charger "case only" and put these bad memories behind me once and for all. Maybe for next season, we'll see ?

We drove it home, and I walked away with a 12.0
I truly can't complain, plus I got to hang with some GREAT PEOPLE
and BTW
HAD THE BETTER ET THAN MY BITCH EVERY TIME

Want to explain that Charlie?

His et was slightly quicker because of better traction
(See 60' times)

His mph was slightly slower
(See hp)

His reaction time was slower
(see the 70's)

Win light was on my lane
(Both Times)

Oh yeah, that better

Rob

found out today that the "race tune" wasn't a tune afterall. Bad programing.
It also looks like all this ported eaton stuff was just smoke and mirrors

Got a new sig picture, what cha think?

Rob, I didn't mean that you were not telling the truth....I was just saying that these conditions are good for us that live just North side of Hell.

The beer can falling and the smokey cab makes everything clear now

I knew I never should have bowed to you (stupid stupid stupid)

Oh here comes the excuses, bad programming
YA RIGHT

Although I got to tell you Buddy,
you with the Apten, me with the Wasp,
I truly expected best ET's from both of us,
not to go slower

But Ray was off his game, and you heard many say they were
off their numbers too, plus your Dyno showed the HP and Torque, You saw it, I saw it, JDM saw it, my Wasp made a great seat of the pants diff on the street, and def added HP + Power too, (there is no doubt of that) so how did we go slower ?
I def got to get my *** some data logging, I could give a rats a$$ about a Dyno, but I need to know whats happening right now, before I decide what changes to make, and I want to make the decision on the changes, but until I can figure out what happen to my Vacuum, I cant do jack schitt, that puts me in a bad postition right now and a list of things to do before any more passes can be made

AND BTW your street program is more aggresive than anything I got, so lets leave the bad programming B/S out OK. You got more chips than I've ever saw in my life. You showed me at least 5 or 6 yesterday, SO MAKE NO EXCUSES, MY ET'S WERE BETTER PERIOD.

END OF STORY...........
