Wideband install question?

Guys I plan on finishing up my FJO wideband install tonight when I get home, but I not sure about placement of the 02 sensor.

Should I just wait and get my muffler guy to weld a bung before the cats on the left side mid pipe or remove the left rear 02 and install it there.

Another question I had is can I shut off the rear 02's with the predator? I am already running a custom tune from RWTD but have not made any changes useing the predator like that?

Bob

When you weld the bung in make sure that it is on the upside of the pipe.since you need to start the wide band before you start the truck. If any water gets on the sensor it can ruin it.STan

Back when I had stock exhaust I ran mine in the right side rear o2 sensor bung. Now that I have long tubes I got it where it should be; right after the collector.

Yes, you want to be sure the sensor is in an upward part of the pipe. Just be sure you have room for getting the sensor in and out if you get a new bung welded in.
