Nice. Does it leave any residue on the black plastic trim? I know all the latest products CLAIM they don't leave any residue or buildup on trim, but how does it perform in real life (not in the lab)? Any haze at all to the sidesteps or bedcaps, etc?

I mask all of my trim off with masking tape prior to doing anything to avoid getting it on the black trim

I believe RockPick had stated that the NXT is like Zaino. I could be wrong but if I am right and the NXT is like Zaino then it will not leave ANY residue/haze/marks on the plastic.

That’s another thing I love about Zaino, you don’t have to worry about it getting on the plastic.

Fractaldragon:

You might want to try a small amount of NXT somewhere on the plastic that is hard to see and see if it does or does not leave any kind of residue. I am pretty sure I have read from a few people that it does not. If that is the case then that will save you some time from having to tape up your plastic trim…

Man remount the trailer wiring. You will be amazed how much better it looks (well not really but it does clean it up a little). If you want to know how to do it in 10mins let me know. Nice wax job.

truck looks great.

I did a little research on the NXT wax by meguirs. It isn't as good as zaino, I am not a fan of zaino, I am a 3M guy. This stuff does not hold up after a short amount of time, and you cannot layer it (because it is a cleaner type wax) as you can with a regular wax or zaino. Initial slickness is great, but after a couple washes it wears quickly.
