Smile Track Results with nitrous!

I finally took the L to Famoso Raceway Friday night with my new setup:

75 shot nitrous
Traction Bars
Hooosier slicks
4# pulley
Swanson Tuned

I think the temp was around 73F. I know it was 93 at 6:00pm, and my best pass was at 10:20pm

Result: (still learning the burnout on slicks thing)
60' ......1.717
330'.....4.959
1/8.......7.679
mph......89.76
1000'....10.040
1/4........12.041
mph.......112.40

I tried importing the slip, but the f150 gallerey wouldn't work

I would like to thank Dale01L and Rob02 for taking the time to answer so many questions I had.

Deus, it was nice talking to you Friday night, email me the next time you go to the track

I was really wishing you would break into the 11s and get thrown out and I would be the only L left . Never would've thought to see someone from the F150 boards at our podunk track. I try to show for every event even thought i've been stock at all of them. Bring one of those extra air kits next time

Great time Jud!! When we going to see the videos? I want to see Omar's video too, although I hear it will take longer to watch......lol

Maybe I'll bring the XLR down and we'll see what it can do.......ever seen the episode of Friends where the guys are punching each other while wearing bubble-wrap? That will be me when I get home with debris stuck in the wheel wells of the XLR. Doris would be laying down some serious buttkicking.....

Nice job, man that must of killed you seeing the 12.0 buddy you were soooooo close to the magic 11 sec pass.

I was so afraid I was going to see 399.9 HP when I got my L dyno'd when I was really hoping to see the 400 / 500 club. Good part about the dyno, is it doesn't take any skill. The 1/4 mile is a whole different story. I know I have a 12 second truck, but don't know if I'll be able to collect a 12 second timeslip. My local track sucks, and I've never tried to launch a truck with this much HP on street tires.

5/100th's of a sec away is nothing, you got that easy AND THEN SOME with a 1.6 60ft.

It would prob be fair to say, your already faster than Gator

Congrats Judd!

Like I said, excellent times considering the track conditions & weather..

Get yourself some cheap skinnies (Ghetto Skinnies as I like to call 'em ) and a little better launch and you are instant 11's..

Glad I could help!!

to those ET's. I'd like to add nitrous to my list of mods, as well. It seems that these trucks with a lil bit of spray are just animals.

Thanks everyone, for the comments. One of the best things of being a Lightning owner is the willingness of other L owners to share info and help each other out........And the launch!!!
Sorry, I still can't get over the launch.

Wait until you get that puppy into the 1.6's
Sometimes I think my whole thrill of racing is in the launch.
I had a 1.63 60ft with that 12.01 @ Cecil a few weeks ago,
with the new JDM 58" Rancho bars it was the best launch yet.
SOB gives you a feeling like nothing else in life, I LOVE IT....
Can't wait to get me a 1.5 (AMOF, I got me some new Nitrous Jets on the way as we speak, time to step it up, you guys are getting too close for comfort, hehehehehe
Congrats again Judd
YA BABY.....

So you finally found the right size jets then Rob? Which ones did you step up to? You were talking about, what a 85 shot...
