In four years I've done two, and I pretty much discourage the dealers from doing them. Almost all of them will do you a good deal on the Accumulator with a deep pan and filter, though.
I have on a few occasions made them availible for charity fundraisers, and they have both raffled them off or sold them at a discount, but those are pretty much local events and not on the net.

3 words: Just Do It.

I just put my truck back to stock, have 0 compression in cyclinder 8, driving it to the dealer I hit it because the motor is done anyhow, and I still chirp the tires going into 2nd gear.

Hey Greg, does the PCM have anything to do with way the trans is told when to shift?

I never found how to calibrate my speedo/tach (cluster) to the larger diameter wheels, and wondering if im working my stock transmission overtime (seems to stay in gear(s) longer) ???

Its just a concern I have now, BEFORE I install my FTVB and 4x4 pan.

Well, you should have gone, I was so happy at how we did raising money for a great cause, and I had a case of them with me, that in the middle of my little speech I just asked if there was anyone in the room who DIDN'T have a FTVB, and just handed them out for free until the box was empty. I want to thank everyone who bought a ticket to the raffle and helped support a great cause, the Cancer Society Walk for Life!

$260 for a FTVB and 4X4 pan is still pretty classy too.

The shift points are all commanded by the PCM, you'll need to go to a dealer and have the PCM calibrated for the new tire size, and yes it is affecting the shift points the way it is.

Hope this helps,

G
