FINALLY got dynoed

Spent the day at JDM yesterday. Nice and hot and humid.

I recently had the blower ported by Outrageous Performance and wanted to make sure A/F was safe. Plus the fact that I've never had the truck dynoed. Jim made some adjustments for the blower in the new tune. Unfortunately, the new software he has can't access certain hex registers in the code in my chip. I'm not in the market for a new chip right now, so I'll settle for what I have.

Made 3 pulls. First one was on Side I on pump gas. Next two were on Side II running 93 / 104.

A/F was flat across the curve and never went above 12.5.

It made 432.71 / 528.95 on Side I on pump gas.

It made 440.10 / 538.04 on Side II on 93 / 104 mix.

Jim was very pleased with what he saw from a 'safety' and performance standpoint based on my mods.

Thanks Jim and crew. Hopefully the weather for FFW won't be anything like it was yesterday and I'll be able to lay down some decent #s.

p.s. Met DealerJim and his wife. Nice truck. It's a real beast. Good luck with it.

Even with the correction factors of STD or SAE, I am sure the heat and humidity killed your #'s a bit. But your tune is safe and that's what really matters! Where is the dyno chart?

The weather has been so nice for the past week and a half around here, so I am worried that FFW is going to be rained out. We haven't had too much rain recently. I'll be there though (with something special for Fast Gator )

I'll post the chart when I get home. Or you can.

Nice numbers!

Do you have a stock bottom end??
I thought that 12.5 is too lean when your pushing the limits of the stock motor(if thats what it is).

Nice numbers man. Sure wish I had the abiltiy for a dyno at one of the tuners shops so they could make adjustments. I got a custom tune from JLP for the Predator and just had to go with what I got. Can't complain, got 418 RWHP on 91 octane and a/f's in the 11's. Decent numbers and a safe a/f so the motor should be OK.

Let me guess......

is it white?
is it 3/4" in diameter?
is it about 12" long?

Can't figure out what you got

Thumbs up

Nice numbers Dan.

I talked to Jimmy this afternoon and it sounds like Jim has really turned the wick up. Jimmy and Michelle are nice people.

I'm sure he can't wait to get back and tell us all about it on the other boards.

Hey Dan Nice Numbers
I am getting my blower ported by Tommy right now, was wondering with your numbers what major mods you have done?

Like Pulleys? upper /lower?

Maybe just the brunt

Thanks

Matt

You should hear that thing. Especially on the dyno. WOW.

I'm glad they figured out his tuning issues. I know they were having some trouble but it sounds like they figured everything out.

Guess they're on their way home now. I wouldn't want to pick up that gas tab!!
