was considering maybe buying an 99+ L with really high miles, and putting a built block in it. what else should i replace and how much $$$ would this all cost me you think?

Along with the built motor a built trans would be a good idea.

 

don't forget to have the rear end rebuilt. I have 116K now and rear end is starting to slip.

 

yea i live about 15 - 20 minutes from JDM's in freehold, i just wasnt sure around the total cost of everything.

 

Or, you could / should try PSP as they are over that way as well.
