Looks like a good spot. The others just look like they're a little too inconvenient, and a little too 'cluttered' looking. Good choice.

Rob you could make a flip up with the unit mounted to it! in that pocket in your console. Would be neat and hidden when not in use! Artie.

Rob,

Does this Minimax replace the Zex or connects to it?

I'm glad your happy. But I knew you would be.

A few comments:

1) Make sure you use locktite on the solenoid mounting bolts. You don't need the nuts coming off and going into your blower.

2) The new batch of progressives that should be done in a few months will have a TPS option built in, so this will make things cleaner and easier.

3) Looks like you guys have the parking brake pedal in the same location as me. This is where I mounted my Minimax. I "HIGHLY" suggest being careful with the unit if this is what some people want to use for a mounting location. If you take the end piece off the Minimax where the wires come out (that are soldered to the internal board) you can then slide the internal board and face plate out. THIS must be done in sync as the push buttons on the board can be bent over if not, as the face plate front screen buttons cover these internally somewhat. Once these boards are removed you just have a plain aluminum case. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the case and one into my parking brake pedal that is barely noticable even when removing the Minimax. Now just screw the case down onto the pedal and replace the two boards and end piece. The wires can be tucked underneath and run along the parking brake lever and through the firewall without seeing them. There is also plenty of wire slack to be able to still use the parking brake. Just press on the Minimax itself with your hand to press the pedal down.

heh - they'd have to be REEEEEEEEALLLLY small nuts to be pulled through the filter medium

Looks cool, Rob! Good luck on getting it all together this weekend. Maybe next week we'll see your dyno results from Sal's shop??

My mistake as I was thinking of a panel filter layout and forgot that a cone filter is in there covering the inlet.

Screw the holiday.

Lets get this puppy on and running like a "Raped Ape"

Cannot wait for results.

Since your retiring "Nitrous Ronbo" for "Wizard of NoZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"

Maybe with good results I 'll become "Nitrous VINNIE"
