No, it's about 50 min to an hour the way I go. I think I can make it, it all depends on what happens to my L. Right now they just tore it down and will tell me Mon if I need an entire new engine , or just many new parts. They believe it is either a spun bearing or rod .

I sure do want a new engine, b/c I just got the 01 and it only has 18000 miles. I will know tomorrow.

 

I've been about 4 times to the track now and it is about 1 hour 20-25 minutes. and that is no traffic at all.

care to enlighten us on your route selection? I've been both ways and the thomasville route seems longer than the route up 221 off of exit 241 on I-10.

 

Well, I'm not sure where the track is, I was just speaking of Valdosta. But my cousin lives there, so I go the back way. I'll post the directions when I speak with him

Sorry I havn't replied until now. I have not got ahold of my cousin yet, but when I do I will post the directions. Also, I will be getting a new engine , but they said Sat (yeah right) at he earliest.

cool.. only about half the people that said they were going ended up heading up to valdosta tonight. one of the cars wasn't tuned in time.
