What do you think of this WACKY IDEA ???

Ok since I have this extra Hole in my Manifold,
I was kinda thinking, "HEY", what if I put a pet **** on
that tapping ( BTW I got a Pet c.ock, wanna see a Picture, hehehehehee................

And while sitting in the pits, hook up a simple rubber hose
"from a bottle of Freon --> to the Pet c.ock" (I love my Pet c.ock,
wanna see a picture ?, hehehehehe) and squirt ice cold Freon all up in the manifold, S/C, IC, etc...... just a nice slow stream for a while (cooling off everything from the inside out) ???

Here's the opening

and hey what the hell, we're amongst friends,
and here's a pictures of me Pet c.ock, WOO HOO.............

Is that a totally crazy idea ?
And I just so happen to sell cylinders of Freon at work too

I can't believe I can't say pet ****

Do you know what freon becomes when it burns? Fozene gas(mustard gas) what are you wanting to do kill Vinnie this time???? You could use this petcc.ock to use to clean your intercooler use some throttle body clesner and spray it into it while it's running and wash all the crap out of there.

Freon has a lot of oil in it. You might see how the concept Lwas using the a/c to cool it.

The other issue is that Freon is a greenhouse gas ... Venting freon in that way isnt great for the environment.

Plus it would be real expensive....

Co2 or Notrogen would have the same effect and would be less damaging to the environment

Ok Freon is out, (good thing I have my Brothers to throw
these silly ideas of mine at) Plus I don't want no trouble with the EPA. They're already up my butt for this cloud of Nitrous + Hydro that surrounds my neighborhood

Hmm, we happen to sell Nitrogen too
60Lb Bottle outright cost us 95.00
and ea refill/ exchange cost us $10.00

And WOW while I was just trolling the warehouse, I found an even better Pet**** YES IT'S BIGGER litnfast, AND BETTER

WOO HOO, My pet**** is better, my pet**** is better,
sorry no pic's hahahahahaha

I guess the severe temp changes could def cause a crack
Been there done that (on brand new Subura Turbo Motor once) (@#%(@$%@$$@$%

Food for thought I guess ???

Hi Rob, as georgia svt already mentioned.

If you were to run freon through the combustion process, it would come out your tailpipes as highly poisonous Mustard Gas.

this is a bad thing.

it would likely kill you and anybody near your truck at time of startup.

so I'd have to say, YES, that is a totally crazy idea.

just my .02

later,
chris

P.S. I MIGHT be coming up to visit Sal's shop next weekend. you should stop by.

You don't have to use HCFC refrigerants.

Freon is only a manufactor name and slang term for refrigerant.

You could use 134A and be OK. and it is not deadly when flamed.

CO2 would be a heck of a lot cheaper.

I don't think any of these thermal changes would be sever enough to crack your intake or harm anything.

In reality thought I think the concept could be acheived by extending your intercooler lines to the bed of the truck with the ice box and have a remote switch for you circulating pump.

I keep wondering how I could take a New old stock Novan solar panel heat exchanger. (Noranda was the name) Run the truck AC threw one side and the intercooler water threw the other and get that concept L super cooler effect on my own.

This whole line of thought is an oportunity for development by some Mad HVAC mechanic and if I ever find the parts I may do some experimenting.

You wouldn't want your AC on durring WOT but it would be great to pre cool things. Even taking the existing evaportator and submersing it in your sub cooler tank might work durring cool down in the pits.
