Here are some closer pics. This is my second design, my first design looked like yours with rounded corners but I wanted the true Nastruck look so hence this design. I bought a ten foot piece of fiber board (not sure what they use it for) from Home Depot and did a little fabrication, and finished around the edges with side moulding from the auto store to give it a more professional and finished look. I'm very curious as to how you mounted the spoiler, if you have a close up shot, could you post?

If it bends down at high speeds, doesn't that mean you are creating wind resistance and therefore hurting your truck's performance? Is it noticeable?

Might as well add another...

02 True Blue, its the reason I bought one of these things - I just love that color! Like someone said, it's dark blue during the day but looks black at dawn and dusk.

Looks good. The shaker could use some paint though.

Thanks. Actually, when I'm done getting everything just right the scoop is going to be powdercoated by a friend of mine.

Hey mike, welcome to the new site, I know you from the other site. There's a lot of activity and discussions on here as you can tell, it's never static and that's what I like about this site, lots of feed-back, anyways good to have you aboard!

Actually if it bends down at high speeds it creates less resistance than when it is up. When the spoiler is as tall as mine is and never bends it creates down-force at high speeds which allows the truck's back end to stick to the pavement around corners just like the Nastrucks around the track. You'll loose some top end I guess but I could never tell, hell, I just pulled an STI and porsche from 60mph up to about 120mph and could not believe it!

QUOTE: Scott, what tire size are running. Those suckers are huge.

They are 295/45-20 tires. Yokohama AVS-ST W rated (good to 168 mph, yeah, like I'm ever going to get the truck to that speed!). They are 2 inches taller than the OEM tires, throwing off the speedo and changing the effective rear gear ratio to 3.40. They do fill the fenderwells tho with a mild lowering on the truck and the stock wheels & tires go on for the drag strip or other competitive event. They're just for cruisin', some would say profiling, but can still smoke'em and does bark second gear with the FTVB in the trans. Have considered a V rated tire to get a little smoother ride but these are pretty good with the QA-1's to adjust the suspension especially to accomodate the heavier rolling mass.
