Unhappy No A/C??

I know there was a post not too long ago about this...

While driving home today from FFW at Gainsville, my A/C started blowing cold air. ?????
- Pulled over and checked e-fan (Flex-a-lite) wires. All connected
- Fan DOES run or turn on as supposed to, but does NOT turn
when MAX A/C is .... which it is supposed to.
- Compressor IS working properly and turns on.

I belive a wire or something may have fried. Anyone have any suggestions or experiences on this? Thanks.

if u have ele fans, which u do, when there is no air moving through the condensor, the radiator in front of the motor coolant radiator, the a/c will not be cold, when moving it will eventualyy cool down..

check the wire that the relay goes to, to turn on the fan when the ac is on, if there is no 12v with the max ac on try a diff wire and or check the connections..if the wire has 12v then check the relay and or the wires to the fan..

Detroit,
Thanks....checked my wires today and your right. The power wire going from my A/C clutch was loose. So, just for good meaure, I checked my fuses and sure enough...my A/C clutch fuse was blown. So, replaced fuse and crimped (hard-as-hell) the connections and good-to-go. Thanks again
