In the first pick my first question was why did he keep the upper manifold but in the second pic it looks like you are going to mount the blowoff valve there......is that right? And also it looks like you are blowing thru a stock MAF ?
So when's it gonna be done?
Thinking outside the box......I like it

Dale, the original idea was to mount the bypass there. It was an idea that I thought was slicker than deer guts on a doorknob. But my inginuity got the best of me. We realized that mounting it there put the bypass AFTER the TB, and that wouldn't be good . So I relocated the bypass into one of the ducts (see pic below). I wanted to keep the upper intake so all the factory lines, hoses and IAC and EGR would bolt right up. I plan to market a Procharger kit, so I was looking for a solution for an intake design that didn't add $1000 to the cost of the kit by needing a custom fabbed intake. And you are correct about the MAF, it's a stocker in a blow through setup. As for the intercoolers, the air to air will take care of most of the air charge temps, and then I plan to use the manifold heat exchanger as a secondary ice chiller, sort of like a Vortech power cooler.
My competitors trashed me all these years for running nitrous, and now they all turned to it to run a number. I am planning to go faster with no spray this time. Ironic, isn't it?

Sal,
It looks like you have quite the setup going on there.
Good luck with it and I hope it all works out for you in the end.
A lot of fab work and R&D for you, but I think she will pay off when you get her finished. There should be some fast trucks this year, and with that combo you should be rate at the top..

superfords wickedquick and vinnie get a thats some nice attnetion to detail there.
I especially like wickedquicks hose runnings etc, looks really clean.
and uhh. . .damn sal. thats uhhh, well thats scary. I can't wait to see what thats gonna do on the track. Any idea how close your gettin to done?
Also is it just me or is the front intercooler? (is that what that is? air to air intercooler?) gonna stick out below the front of the front bumper? And it also kinda looks like the front tire might not clear the tube going to the intercooler as well, in the least hit it when you hit a bump? I'm sure you covered that just wondering maybe skinnies clear it but not the stock tire?
