Well the good to me is cost less than the nitto 555 and f1's and should last longer. works great in heavy Texas rain.

They're Hollywood Tires - Squeals at 1-2 shift and 2-3 shift even if not WOT and the same on launching hard. It is fun to wake up your fellow driver's next to you

I also like that they don't track as bad as the nitto 555 and f1's either. They do track due to the width but not being as soft it isn't as bad. I also like the cornering as the truck doesn't seem to roll as much with these.

The bad, dry traction is not as good as f1 and nitto 555 and I think the profile is not as sleek as the above. More road noise too I think, though kind of hard to hear over the exhaust.

In general so far I like them compared to the f1's and nitto 555's since the dry traction it provides me is fine for street driving and I've got slicks for the track.

well didnt really look around, wayne akers has been tryin to compete as of last couple of years in the tire market, but seems goodyear has replaced our f1's with a new f1 and they all want 297 a piece(ouch!) sos after searching a bit on here i decided to try the toyos.
what a great board, thanks again guys.

I have the Toyo's on my winter wheels <(2000 L). They have about 30,000 mi on them and still have plenty of thread. I got them as at the time they were the only ones rated all season. They are far better in winter than the F-1's. They are also good in the rain don't hydro/plane as fast as the Goodyears. Artie

I just ordered two f-1's from OnlineTires.com for $186 each. Those Proxes look pretty good though. I will have to give them serious consideration in the future.
I wonder how they are for traction coming out of the hole hard?

I've managed a 1.96 short time with the Proxes.
