There are going to be a million annoying ricers there. Let me stress a million annoying ricers. Don't expect too much if you go.

The air will be great though. gl

Yeah I know...I've been to a few of them in the past but always had a good time. I just wanna go and have some fun, and work on my reaction/60ft times a little. Hopefully I wont get eliminated early. My truck is pretty consistent so as long as I dial in right I may do good. Just would like to see some other experienced L's there to pick up some tips for reading the track and stuff.

Hey Josh

If you're reaction times are alittle slow try staging alittle deeper.

With those tires on the front you will need to stage and then let it roll in maybe two inches further, but not deep. Then leave on the third yellow.

That truck likes to run cold. If you hotlap it or don't cool it down well between rounds it will slow down 1.5/2 tenths.

Good luck!!

Josh
The best tip I can give you is Consistency, Consistency, Consistency.

Get yourself a routine and do the same thing EVERYTIME. That is what I do.

When you stage. Stage the same EVERYTIME. I like to pre-stage then take a breath (a couple seconds ) and then stage by just flikering the staging light. That way I know EXACTLY were I am starting from EVERYTIME and if I need to adjust I know I have an inch or 2 rollout to work with.

The worst thing you can do is get excited and just drive up and stage.

Relax and take your time. The pre-stage is just that PRE-STAGE. To many people feel they are forced to turn on both lights right away. That is not true. Take your time.

Remember you are not going for a record E.T.. You are going for Consistency.

You should work on your lights and 60 fts first.
My 60s from NMRA Maple Grove were 1.72,1.71, 1.72, 1.70, 1.71. Not impressive E.T. wise, but consistent as all hell.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Vin, Jamie, for the advice, I'll remember all the tips.

Jamie, its almost time for me to change the oil in the truck, and I know you were using synthetic but what weight were you using in the truck when you changed the oil ?? Thanks

Sorry Josh, my kid tells me you called last night while I was on the roof, cleaning the neighbors leaves from my gutters
@%@$#%)@%$#)%$#. DAM LEAVES

Unfortunatly I currently have no Nitrous tank, so I wouldn't have bothered to make the trip anyway. Plus as said above, I don't think I wanted to spend my Sat on the staging lane with ricers anyway.

It's like a got dam yellow jacket buzzing around your ear all day

BEST OF LUCK BRO
