pully radial wobble?

just wonder if any one elses lower blower pullies have a radial wobble (interchangable 2#)?

The factory pully runs perfectly true however the aftermarket one has some radial wobble is this normal?

Did you get the correct pulley for your year model Lightning?
99-00 use one kind, 01-04 use another.

thanks for the replies

I do have a lightning, sonic blue 03 tried to change my screen name back when i bought it but could not use the same email add.

Anyway its the motoblue 2# interchangeable - it looked pretty good visually, the outer ring fit well on the hub and the hub fit nice on the balancer. However when the truck is running it appears to wobble up and down some (no lateral just radial), it is on there square and everything so i'm starting to think maybe the hole for the hub was not machined perfectly in the center as like i said everything went together with no problems and nice and smoothly. I was more/less wondering if it was a normal condition for it too be slightly off compared to the factory.

Perhaps I'll put a dial indicator on it tommorrow and then i will know exactly how much run out it has because sure as ***** if I phone and complain they will want to know how much its out.

Thanks for the help.

BTW the motoblue can fit the earlier years as it has a steped ring wich actually fits nicely in the hub as an adaptor.

Thanks for any info, especially if others have this set up or the metco version.

it should not wobble !!! check it . take it back off and make sure everything was properly installed.

I'm not familiar with the motoblue 2# interchangeable.....but

a lightning here in town had a pulley wobble on it and when I helped him take it off I noticed that of the 3 allen head bolts, two were riding in the radius of the pulley, we grinded clearance from the edge and installed the pulley correctly and of course no more wobble.

Make sure you use the correct torque specs and use a good torque sequence.

I've had a PSP 2lb and now a JLP 6lb - and they both "look" to run true.

red92- the inner bolts did have some contact so i ground them down like you suggested which did lessen the radial movement howver its still there
