L's are performance vehicles-high performance vehicles. Those spinners detract from the Lightning's looks and performance. If you like them and have money, go grab a 'sclade and spin away.

Lightning owners dont support the "ghetto look".....if they did we would buy a escalade or a dodge.
spinning rims are not for performance vehicles, 98% of lightning owners buy these trucks because they "perform" at the track !!!
So, next time your at the track....try to notice if any vehicles there have spinners.

Now for that 2%.......Bling ,Bling, Baby...sweeeeeeet....duhh hey look at that there truck!!! it aint moven but the wheels are moven ......sweeeeet

I think the spinners detract from the vehicle. So if you drive a P.O.S. (piece o' crud), put the spinners on.

It's kinda like being caught stealing, then you shoot the guy next to you; nobody's gonna care about the stealing

What are some good rims for a Lightning? Pics would be great.

I didn't say I was goign to get spinners when I got my lightning I was just wondering why everyone hates them so much.

I am just wondering. Is it because it is too much chrome, or the fact that it just spins?

The local shop near me has a white lightning with the Davin wheels that have a full black backing and chrome spokes that spin so there is hardly any chrome. It actually looks really good I just don't know how well the perform on a performance truck.
They did whaaaaaaaaat to a white lightning?

I wish them a horrible death. The proper way to treat a white lightning is to buy it big brakes and a built motor. (one down one to go)

To each his own... Only spinners IMO that look good are the ORIGINALS - Spreewell/Davin.

All the other spinning wheels, look like a bolted on after thought..
