any one have a pic of the metco interchangeable pully hub?

looking for a pic or maybe just an answer.

Does the metco interchangeable pully hub have grooves where the allen bolts run? (to bolt to the balancer) I looked on metco's site and it appears so, but its kinda hard to know forsure from the pic.

Thanks for the help.

Define grooves??? If you're talking about little serrated 'teeth' around the holes where the bolts go through than yes...they're for gripping the lock washers.

actually i mean along the same direction as the allen bolts sit in the hub (are they groved so the bolts dont rub against the inner edge of the hub)

I don't have a picture, but my SOLID aluminum METCO (NOT the interchangeable hub and ring unit) DOES have grooves machined in line with the three bolts. in my experience, I don't think I've ever had the bolts actually contact the inside diameter of the pulley, but sometimes if you are using a hex head tool in a socket setup to tighten, the tool will contact the pulley.

in any event, the answer to your question is YES, (I think) there are grooves in the metco pulley.

later,
chris

I've got the Metco interchangeable and it does have the grooves in the hub...for clearance for a socket as Chris already mentioned.

thanks alot that was what i wanted to hear

the mb kit did not wich is why as red92 suggested that my pully may have had a bit of a wobble, i ground the heads of the bolts down a bit so there would be clearance but it still had a slight wobble. Now to send it back and get a metco.

Thanks again for the help
