Almost 3 months and I am Back w/new engine

Just picked up my L from the dealer with a fresh new engine courtesy of Ford warranty!!!
It sure took long enough. They replaced the head and then it was still making noise. I brought it back and they disassembled the block and saw scoring on the cylinder 7 and 8 and said the piston ring was seized on 7. Not sure how they missed that one. They made me fax them all my oil / filter receipts to show that I serviced the truck. The next day they called me and told me that they ordered the engine because I had awesome service records. (change oil less than every 3k). Anyway I have a new motor with a new "warranty".

I am taking a road trip this weekend so the engine will be broken in by next week so I can start the mods.

oh yeah, Special thanks to PSP, JLP, Josh, and Jim Kalfakis for all their help and advice.

Yeah, you live and learn. It was an expensive trip, about $800 - $1000 in parts and tips to get it done, better than 9K for a new long block...On top of that paying 600 /month plus insurance for 3 months without driving it just sucked. I am definitely going to play it a little safer this time until I get my built block. And another thing that sucks is this took so long and I had the money burning a hole in my pocket so I just dumped it all into my civic. Just hooked up full coilovers and a 50 shot NX kit. So now I have to start saving again for the built block.
