Callin Rob02 - TRANS Filter Q

Someone said you have a pic of a stock trans filter, next to a 4x4 trans filter...?

Just looking to see if the one i bought 6 months ago is correct for my 4x4 pan, before i drop the pan tomorrow.

Krix,

Thanks guys, how much longer "deeper" is the 4x4 filter?

Its been so long since i bought it, that i cant remember if i got the 4x4 or regular filter and gasket kit.

It's got a long "funnel" on the bottom of it, so it can reach the bottom of the 4X4 pan. I think the "neck" with the orange gasket on it is the same height as the stock one.

Teh stock one has a pickup with about 1/4 inch, no more than that, the deep pan one has a pickup with about an inch or so. The Neck going to the pump is the same on both.

When you drop your stock pan, compare it to the one in it now.
