Intercooler question
Noticed that the coolant in the intercooler reservoir is still, isn't it supposed to be constantly circulating? Took it in for servicing yesterday, service writer said it works off a thermostat and should be okay....but he didn't write up the concern on service invoice. Besides loss of power, could anything else get screwed up if the intercooler isn't working?

It will increase your boost clear up in the black on a stock guage for what thats worth.
The higher temps rob you of basicaly free horsepower (not much but a little)
It can contribute to detonation, rotor teflon flaking and prolly lots more.
It is temperature control activated by your computer.
When the electric pump is circulating it realy moves the coolant that's for sure.

yeah mine is a 00 im on my buddy's name my name is macracer18. but yeah i took it to the dealership to put in the new motor and they put the hoses on backwards but all you have to do to see if the motor is working is when you start it up get under the truck and look at the pump and see if it kicks on it will kick and if it don't then it could be the pump or maybe no power going to the pump

Same problem here. My fix was the ground wire going to the pump came out of the plug that goes into the pump.
Mine was still and now it looks like a blender.
also IAT2 temps cruising for 15 mins on the same day went from 160-175 degree's.
When I fixed it The IAT2 was 99-110 Degree's.
thats gotta be alot of horsepower considering the computer was pulling my timing down to 9 degrees from heat
