Post Apten/4lb #'s

I dynoed the Lightning today. This was the first time after my Apten and 4 lb lower upgrades.

I used the same tune for before and after #'s. However, the weather was hotter and more humid here today in Missouri.

Pre Apten/4lb #'s 350rwhp/424rwtq
Post Apten/4lb #'s 410rwhp/487rwtq

Now I just need a more agressive tune.

60 HP on an Apten in hotter weather has to be a record! What were you air fuels?

The 60 hp gain was with an Apten and a 4 lb pulley, both upgrades.

A/F was 12.2 across the board.

The truck was dynoed by the guy who does Apten's porting, and he kept a copy of my dyno sheet. He seemed proud of his work.

Nice numbers with the apten and 4lber, The Pre numbers were very low considering you had a chip and a electric fan. My truck Dyno'd 357RWHP bone stock on a 95 Texas Day and only a K&N.

K&N? then it wasn't BONE stock now was it?

Nice #'s! Should be a wee bit higher though. A good tune tweaking will help ya out.

I wanted to dyno my truck with the same tune pre/post porting/pulley, just to see the actual gains I got from those mods.

The tune I am running is just a basic JDM J39, nothing special.

Also, dyno #'s can vary from one dyno to another, that's why I used the same dyno and dyno operator. I might have picked up a few more hp if I would have dynoed in October, like the base runs.

OK cool... I wouldn't go much more agressive than that 12.2 A/F Some might even be a bit worried with that

Yeah, a/f is fine, maybe a bit more timing is all I need.

Also, I use an LM-1 wide band o2 sensor, placed in the rear o2 bung. It consistantly registers 1/2 point richer in a/f, and I'm sure pre cats it would register even richer. So, I would think 12.2 at the tail pipes would be safe.

I would argue your numbers are high. While I seen similar numbers to you with just a K&N, it was in February with 50 degree intake temps. I haven't seen people post numbers like yours in that heat.

Maybe you got a strong truck or maybe your dyno plays with "fuzzy math"?
