obviously, since I'm stock, I don't really care much about additives as long as I'm getting the proper octane and I'm not detonating...but using this fuel worries me if/when I do the whole pulley/chip thing... still confused whether this is a good thing or a bad thing--
some might say, "if you're worried about it, go with a different gas company" but I get free gas through shell (because of a family-owned company) and I'd like to use it as long as it's not harmful

the commercials I have heard state that the V-Power stuff contains 5 tmes the amount of cleaners required......
that alone makes me not want it in my truck... too many additives sounds like a bad idea to me. I always run Chevron 93 or Sunoco 93..... I have never really liked Shell for some reason anyhow... also, Citgo gas always made my vehicles ping, even with the 93 octane

Nope, BP and Amoco Oil are the same company now. All BP stations pump Amoco Fuels. No worries.

I was under the impression that BP, British Petroleum, was pumping Amoco Fuels into all the tanks. Oh well, thanks for the correction, I learn something new everyday!
