How much power would it take a lightning to beat it on the top end?

GT's go 200+ and lightnings aerodynamics are terrible. Our F-150 tops out at prolly 100 with 260 hp, Trans Ams go about 160 with the same power. Trucks suck for going fast.

i think what he means, and this is prehaps reading a bit too much into it, is that a stock f150 with a 5.4 is 260 hp? something like that. It tops out at about 100 (actually 120 or so i believe). Meanwhile a transam with the same horsepower will do 160. So hes saying comparing the hp or the transam and the f150, with the aerodynamics of both, what would be needed in terms of horsepower to drive 200+.

Or .. he just doesnt know what the hell hes talking about.

I thought the new regular 5.4's were 300 hp?

 

its all about gearing and aero dynamics rather than just hp. but anyways, dont wana get off topic, very nice sighting bro, im uber jealous, wouldnt it be awesome to have a heavly modded L race on the street, i can just imagine the guys face in the GT , then in the L . haha, awesome car, id love to have one!
