click on my signature and look through my online photo galleries, there are quite a few more interesting pictures there....

look under the "repair pictures" album, there are several different Lightning cab off pictures and a standard f-150 full frame replacment job photos there.

or click on the "5.4 Engine Assembly " folder and then once inside click on the "Cab Off Engine Removal & Install Pics" album for more pics of my truck specifically.

I'm at work right now, getting leakdown all over the place from the intake & exhaust valves? and the crankcase too...

I'm busy, but I'll update later.

From: Colorado,
Well, if worse comes to worse maybe you can get it back to stock condition and at least drive her again.

Maybe you could trade some of the trick stuff for new stock.

I hope the crank is in good shape and you have your old rods.

Maybe you just got some pistion and ring peaces stuck in the valve seats and or bent the head of the valve.

Hope your back on the road soon.

Hey Chris, just a crazy idea, have you ever take the bed off and drive the truck like that, I saw one of those modded mini trucks like a c-10 drive like that and let me tell you when he hit it all I saw were smoke from the tires going down the street all the way (no brake torquing) just awesome, no traction, just a thought. Hope you can get that awesome beast back up and running, good luck

Good luck Chris. Man I bet the techs at my dealership wish they had a shop like yours. Management would have a cow if a tech had his own vehicle in the shop taking up space.

Speedy recovery to the engine of DOOM
