Cold air kit ?'s

I am looking for any kind of numbers wether there track or dyno numbers.

What kind of difference have you guys felt when going from a stock air box to a cold air kit. How much e.t. was gained or H/P was gain just from that mod.

Has anyome use this kit before. Yea or a Nah on it

I was just Lent a C & L 85MM mass air meter to see if I like it. They say on C&L that you gain. The 85mm Lightning MAF system has increased performance by as much as 33 more rear wheel horsepower in independent testing on a Dynojet dynamometer.
The increase in horsepower is coming from both the increase in total airflow through the package as well as from a resultant boost increase of up to 2 additional PSI. Due to this increase, the air/fuel ratio of the stock vehicle is adjusted by one point from 11:1 to a more aggressive 12:1.

Thanks Jason

The sound alone was worth it!!!

I think they are stretching it on the 85MM

Generally lean is not a good thing. Better be running good fuel that's for sure.

Ya what Greg said, the JLP box is well worth the Whine alone, AND IT LOOKS GREAT. And if your running a stock box, it'll
also add 1 - 2 lbs of Boost, WOO HOO...........
So yes, you can expect to gain Power and Performance
