Thank you all for your comments. Like I said, it was
spur of the moment, and it really looks better in person.

Here's a better shot ... From any distance, they look
more like the gray wheels on a Maserati or a Porsche than
anything else.

They look great in the long shot!

I am going to powder coat my 02 track wheels black or gunmetal. Not only will they show the brake dust less, dark wheels look menacing on the track.

i just put brakedust covers on mine and no brake dust now and you can put tire dressing on them and they really gloss up. i have had them on mine for about 2 years and love them even left them on at the track. for under 150.00 it sayed me from wiping them down after a 2 hour cruise around town.

I often wondered about the Dust Covers ?
What is the down side to them, I guess Heat right ?
But if your running them 2 years with no prob's sounds like
it isn't an issue at all ?

no every things been good as far as the brake dust covers, i only have to barely wipe them down with a dry cloth every couple of days even with long trips
