contribute to it. This is a great time to show our unity ...

Note: I really enjoyed the engine buildup thread with pics. I think we all learned something out of this. Now start turning those wrenches.

guys, I really don't know what to say about all of this.

I don't know how to thank each of you guys for your generosity and support with your pledges and contributions.

1/2 of what makes the whole blown motor situation so distressing is that I feel so bummed out because I built the thing myself and it blew up. it really makes me question myself and not want to "give it another shot".

but I've got to tell you. the fact that everyone here bothers to post and give a chit, never mind contributing parts or hard earned cash out of the goodness of their hearts... it's really inspiring.

I mean if you guys care enough to do this, then hell, I had better as Tim Skelton so eloquently put it "stop being a self doubting *******" and get this thing running again!

thanks again to each person who has offered parts, cash, and even just moral support and encouragement.

it all truely helps me get myself (and my truck) out of the slump and back up and running again.

THANK YOU!

sincerely,
chris haynie

Look at it this way, Chris ... Now you know what NOT to do ...

What keeps you from making mistakes? Experience!!!
How do you get experience? MISTAKES !!!

Always seemed an oxymoron to me....

Build it back,bub ... you ain't no ******* ... < grin >

Chris,
You deserve this more than anyone. I think everyone has learned a ton from your post and most importantly I have never met you but if the tides were turned and it was someone else who blew a motor you would be first in line to help.

Ickolonohoadfa I do not have a paypal account. email me at tbraunworth@blsfund.com with an address to send the check and chris's name.
I am good for $50 spot.

Now Chris if you could just do something about the rest of the Ford Mechanics out there(what are some of them thinking??), I think we would pay for your whole truck not just the engine.

Chris,
Best of Luck and hope to see you in the tens soon.

I'm a lil stretched out right now between a few things but I get paid soon and if I have anything left over I can afford to throw into the pot I will. I've never met Chris, but I always read his technical help to peoples problems and he's even helped me by answering a few of my mod questions. I'll be glad to help if I can.

thanks again for all the support guys.

I don't mean to advertise here, but in an effort to raise some funds to repair or replace my engine, I've put a couple of items up for sale over on the nloc classifieds page.

again, I'm not trying to advertise, but I just wanted people to know that I'm not just sitting here waiting on you guys to buy me a motor, I'm doing everything I can do to scrape together the needed money.

thanks.

sincerely,
chris

I'm in for the promised c-note.

Subject, of course to the no booze or hookers and no self-doubting p*ssy terms and conditions.

Glad to see that you are getting the right attitude back, Chris.
